VedJyotix Customer Agreement

Effective date: 7 October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VedJyotix ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Section 12 applies to you only after you tick the box accepting this agreement and select Accept.

2. Nature of the Service

VedJyotix provides free Vedic astrology and numerology tools including:

  • Kundali (birth chart) compatibility matching
  • Daily Panchang (Hindu calendar)
  • Numerology calculator
  • Love compatibility calculator
  • Gun Milan (Ashtakoot matching)
  • Rahu Kaal tracker

3. Entertainment and Informational Purpose Only

All content and results generated by VedJyotix tools are provided for entertainment and informational purposes only.

They do not constitute professional advice of any kind — including but not limited to medical, psychological, financial, legal, or relationship advice. You should not make significant life decisions based solely on the results of our tools. VedJyotix expressly disclaims any liability for decisions made in reliance on our content.

4. Accuracy of Results

Our calculators use traditional Vedic numerology and astrology methodologies. Results are algorithmic interpretations of these classical systems. We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the results. Actual astrological outcomes are subject to interpretation by qualified astrologers.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Site.
  • Submit false, misleading, or offensive content through any forms.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on VedJyotix — including text, design, code, graphics, and tool outputs — is the property of Vellmont Services or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may share results for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution to VedJyotix.

7. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party site. Links do not constitute endorsement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VedJyotix and Vellmont Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its tools.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

12. Audio-recorded consultations

  • 12.1 Every audio call is recorded — your voice and the astrologer's — from the moment you are connected until the call ends. Nothing outside the call is recorded. Chat consultations are not audio-recorded; their messages, attachments and timestamps are stored as chat logs.
  • 12.2 A “Recording” indicator is shown for the whole call. If recording cannot start, the call does not connect and you are not charged.
  • 12.3 We use recordings and chat logs only to: resolve refund requests, complaints and disputes; detect and investigate fraud, abuse and harassment; protect the safety of customers and astrologers, including responding to a risk of self-harm; comply with law and lawful requests from courts, regulators and law-enforcement authorities; review the quality and conduct of consultations; and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • 12.4 We do not use your recordings or chat logs for marketing or publicity, or to train or improve AI or machine-learning models, unless you give separate, specific consent.
  • 12.5 Access is limited to authorised VedJyotix personnel and our service providers on a need-to-know basis, and every playback is logged. You and the astrologer cannot play or download recordings in the app. If a dispute concerns your consultation, you may ask us in writing for the relevant extract or transcript; we may redact the astrologer's personal information.
  • 12.6 Recordings are kept for up to 90 days after the call ends, and chat logs for up to 12 months; after that they are deleted, or irreversibly anonymised, within 30 days. If a dispute, complaint, investigation, legal claim or lawful request about the consultation is pending, the relevant records are kept until it is closed, plus 30 days.
  • 12.7 Recordings are held with service providers, including cloud-storage and real-time communications providers, which may be located outside India.
  • 12.8 A call cannot continue without recording. If you stop recording during a call, the call ends and you pay only for completed minutes.
  • 12.9 You can withdraw this consent at any time in Settings. You then cannot start audio calls until you accept again, and a call in progress ends; chat is not affected. Recordings made before you withdraw are kept for the periods above. If you delete your account, your recordings are deleted unless a pending matter requires them; chat logs follow the periods above.
